I wanted the first post on this blog to capture the essence of this site. I created this site because I believe in the power of words. I believe that reading broadens our horizons and opens our minds to new ideas and principles. I believe that a well- read individual can change the world. I believe that writing--whether you decide that the creative writing or the journaling side is more for you is not important--helps us stay creative and engaged. I believe that writing can help us improve our every day communication and relationships.
