I am super excited for today's post because I LOVE these books. Let's be real, if I didn't love them, I wouldn't be recommending them.

Starting from the picture and moving clockwise, I'll be telling a bit about each book/series and include a link to either the individual book or the first in the series.
Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter: I have been a fan of this series since I was in, like, 6th grade. If you're looking for girls who save themselves, espionage, a dash of forbidden romance, and high stakes, this is for you!
Not If I Save You First by Ally Carter: I literally wrote an entire post on why I love this book. Written by the same author as Gallagher Girls (and also the Embassy Row series), this story is perfect for those who love the life and death adventures and budding romances.
Royals by Rachel Hawkins: This book JUST came out two days ago and I'm only a couple chapters in, but I already love it. It is a beautifully crafted tale of romance and entirely relatable characters. I think Daisy might be my new favorite. Just saying.
Eragon by Christopher Paolini: This one is a classic. If you haven't read this series yet, please please please do. It's got magic, dragons, and crazy villains. What more could you need?
The Agency by Y.S. Lee: Another case of the girls who save themselves, but this time set in Victorian London and all done in ultra secrecy. It's beautiful.
Embassy Row by Ally Carter: By now, you guys already know how I feel about Ally's work. As a writer, it is one of my biggest life goals to be in the same circle as her. This series is no exception: kids changing the world, threat of international incident, and mental health issues being perfectly portrayed.
Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan: Rick Riordan is another favorite of mine. I loved the Percy Jackson series, and I LOVE that he is bringing other regions' mythology into the mix. I especially love this series though because of the combining of Greece and Roman myths which, while similar, are still very contradictory in several places and he handles that contradiction very well.
The Squad by Jennifer Lynn Barnes: Cheerleading, high school spies that save the world from crazy people with strange family and squad dynamics. Need I say more?
I'm so excited to be able to share my favorite books with y'all, and hope you enjoy these as much as I have! Comment with your favorite YA book!
